Renogy inverter charger

Hi Y'all
Well the Prosine 2500 finally gave up the ghost. I decided to try a Renogy 2000w inverter charger. I have a small Renogy solar charger and have heard good things about them. Anyway I purchased and installed this unit. Upon turning it on, the fan comes on, the monitor screen shows 117v coming in, then the alarm starts sounding and the screen shows a 99 error. According to the manual a 99 error is "unit failed to slow start", but gives no remedy. I've called Renogy but they were no help. I've double checked my installation.
Does anyone have any experience with these?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks Ric

Renogy has horrible customer service!!! I have their portable 200 watt solar panel and have had a real tough time with support. They never answer the phone and email support is a problem. I think they are in China and have limited English skills

Hi Dan - I did get thru to Customer Service by calling first thing in the morning. But they were useless just referred me back to the seller. I recently found on line a tech support number for them, I'll try that this morning. Wish me luck. I've gone thru the manual and reset parameters to no avail. Still does the same thing.
Anyway the adventure continues
