Stair cover air activation

I have read several posts on the stair cover not working and that there is an activator behind the stairs. I got under the coach today to investigate why the cover never closed and noticed there were two Norgren air valve controls with gauges but I believe they are for opening and closing the outside step. So... where is the air control for the stair cover. Attached are pics of the two valves and controls I found behind the step

The one with the yellow cover is for the stair cover.

Peter,

If I understand your question one of the valves and regulators are for the outside step and the other is for the step well cover. Each valve does the open and close function of the air cylinder. On our coach the valve mounted to the front of the coach is the step well cover valve.

So replacing the whole unit would solve the issue? Where do purchase all the parts. Has anyone done this and have the resources for the install available?

I just did mine a couple of months ago and if I did it again I would
have gone to a local control place to find valves that would work.
After I did mine a buddy of mine said that there lots of valves that could
do the job. Norgren doesn't make that valve anymore and the one they
recommend takes changing things.

Would Foretravel have them in stock? Anyone know of a part off coach that I may get one off of?

The old part number is on the valve and they have a replacement which
needs changes to install it. Sorry I can't remember where I got them. I changed
both of mine as they were both leaking. If you haven't found a part number I could
climb under my coach when I get home Wed.

Peter,

Here is a recent thread that has all kinds of info as to where to get those valves if you want to replace rather than try to rebuild. Read through all the replies

I get my Norgren valves from a distributor here in Houston.

OneHydralics, Work - 28 one  94 one  2310,  Brett  28one  94 one  2312

Brett may have to order the cover valve but they order direct from Norgren.
