Prosine SOC Question

Friends we're traveling with have a 42' u320 (03 or 04) with 8d's. Is there a way to tell on the Prosine Panel (pic) when the batteries are floating. They've been using the generator "auto" function to recharge and I don't think they've gotten to float when "auto" turns off the generator.

Believe it will change from "charging" to "ready" when external power (genset, shore power) is attached and batteries are fully charged.

ETA - yup.  Per page 27 of the manual which is in the Media/Files section of the forum

Terrific!  I had guessed that might be the case. I've been spoiled by our new Victron  system  Need to encourage these folks to get at least a BMV.

Do they have the original Dynagen BCM-12 on the coach as an auto-start for the genset?

If so, I believe those are somewhat programmable if they want to set it up to run longer.
