Where are you getting your Agreed Value Insurance

I searched here and found some people use Safeco. I have a quote with them but it is on the high side.

I used an agent and as well as called USAA (my insurance) who outsources to Progressive. Both of them said AV on a 20-25YO coach is not an option. However, a third broker says they can do it through Progressive.

    • Does anyone have AV with Progressive?  While we all want to pay lower premiums, should something come up, I don't want to battle with my insurance company. Is Progressive easy to deal with for AV for claims?
    • Where are you getting insurance beside Safeco?

Had agreed value at original purchase price from Progressive  when we purchased in 2017. After significant improvements we had the coach appraised at over twice what we originally paid and Progressive again would cover but at significantly higher premium. Shopped and found Nationwide would cover at larger agreed value for only a couple of hundred more than we were currently paying. Remember, insurance rates are set on a state by state basis so your results will vary. We insure in Florida.

I have safeco AV but they are currently attempting to deny a comprehensive claim for paint damage...  I'm not entirely sure it isn't SOP for the insurance industry these days.

    Thanks for the updates.

To circle back, 3 brokers and 3 days later.... it took a bit but I went with Progressive via RV Insurance Solutions in Coppell, TX. I have found out that there are about 13 agencies that specialize in RV insurance and such, Progressive gives this small group expanded underwriting guidelines, one being able to offer AV. Safeco could do it but they were 25% more.

@Pyolet I would double check that yours is AV, the Progressive agent I talked to via the USAA # could not do that for me, just ACV. If you have it, great.
