Entry door lock

Ok, looks like my external door handle is about to fail.
Did some looking at past articles on replacement or repair.
I am a believer of keeping things as simple as possible. But I know many have done keyless locks and such...
Any suggestions for my poor little '97 U270?

I would suggest you contact PTL Engineering and if they have the part, restore to OEM. You can then add an electric lock but the ones I'm aware of do not replace the existing door handle. They operate the deadbolt lock.

You are right near the cutoff of the goofy hard to find door made by Flight Systems not PTL. Post a pic and I can tell you. I am quite familiar with the doors now

Just had to once again repair the door handle. It's a PITA. But doable. Take lots of pictures before you mess with it. Most likely it's the adjustment knobs things.
