No Spill drain plug & drainer

Hi everyone,

Getting ready to buy one of these for our coach.
I can't remember how the drain plug is on our oil pan (coach is 6 hrs away).

Is the drain plug straight down or at an angle?

I need to choose a drainer: straight, angle, or 45 degree.

which drainer did you get?

Thanks

It should be straight down. The drain plug is on the bottom of the pan

But, I would caution about further extending any drain plug down where it could be knocked off by contact with an uneven road surface, alligator, etc.

Frank,

Out the bottom of the M-11
No spill #55-25418-01 Compact series
#1002 drain as you have plenty of room

There is a thread from long ago where I measured the difference of how much difference the compact drain system is compared to the OEM drain plug. Seems like it is .030 thicker than the OEM If I get a chance later this afternoon I will see if I can find that thread. Out of all the ones that I have installed only one has been damaged by road debris. It didn't get knocked off just bent and the drain wouldn't screw on.

Straight down and I have the no spill on mine and it doesn't stick down very
far.

I'll order the compact with straight down "drainer "

May want to order 2 drainers, one stored away for backup. If you misplace the drainer, there is no great way to drain. We have a spare straight-down drainer.
