Resetting pitman arm

My steering wouldn't go lock to lock so I built a puller to pull the pitman arm
and pulled the pitman arm and found the center for the sector shaft and got the
wheels straight and replaced the pitman arm and now it goes lock to lock. Went to
set the dump valves in the box but the engine wouldn't start. I order a new a crankshaft
centering sensor as it's not reading any ohms on one of the circuit so hopefully that is
the problem.

I actually carry a spare camshaft position sensor in the coach. Didn't know about crankshaft sensor. Please post number or link

Sorry, it is the camshaft sensor and it is probably a good idea to carry a spare.

Good looking puller also, forgot to comment on it. I plan to do my steering gear box reseal this winter, I'll borrow from DavidS locally or build like yours. 👍👍

I think my steering box has been rebuilt. When I took the bolt out for the
pitman arm it was all covered with antiseize and who ever put the arm back
on didn't center it. It only cost me a few dollars to make it, the bolt I didn't have
and I didn't have a 5/8  1/2 in drive socket.

Can't figure out what you are calling a dump valve.

Dump vale on the HWH Computerized leveling after he did the job to lower the coach

It's the screws that release the hydraulic pressure just before the steering hits the stops.

Tiny standard screws on the bottom and top of the Sheppard steering box.  One controls max cut angle right, the other left.

Screwing IN reduces cut angle.  Screwing OUT increases cut angle.

Got the engine going and have gotten the steering all adjusted.
