Zip dee awning part

Attached are pics of the snap stud knob that came off the post on the awning. Can this be soldered on or is it just as simple ( install) a part to purchase and install?

It won't be able to be soldered. It looks like the hexagon part might unscrew and be a simple replacement. Call Zip Dee to buy it. Part number 4
