Cracked windshield

Seems like crack the windshield possibly when we were working on the coach as I thought it happened going down the road but David said he saw the crack as I was driving away and I never saw it. Anyway, it's on the outer curved part of the driver's side windshield. I have zero deductible with progressive and they're in the process of getting me a new windshield. They're going to have to ship it. They said of course to wherever or whoever is going to do the work.
Question is anybody know this area? I'm currently in the Columbus, Georgia area, although I'm actually in the Alabama side. Fort Mitchell, Alabama. They said this could take up to 3 to 4 weeks finish up. They asked if I had any spotty specific and I said I don't know anybody here. But if anybody has an idea of a RV glass replacement that they would recommend in this area, I'd be open to listening to that...

Since I hate leaving threads open, time to close this one.
Evidently this cracked when we raise the coach to do the brakes on the driver's side and it slipped off the jack as we were raising it. That must have caused enough torsion to correct the windshield where it curves on the driver's side. I thought it happened on the road but John 44 pointed out that he saw the crack as I was leaving.
I call progressive. I have zero deductible on the glass but where I'm at is difficult. Nobody nearby could do it. They finally found someone near Atlanta that would come down to replace it, but the glass had to be shipped to me. Basically this piece of glass comes in a big cardboard box with cardboard holders on a small wooden base. After it was delivered it got rained on and the next day the windshield had fallen in the box but luckily did not get chipped or broken. Today a guy came down from near Atlanta to install it. It took him about an hour and a half. Getting it out was interesting. It was bedded in a poly sulfide compound. Once that was broken it was a simple matter (not) to get it out. Putting it back in was a lot easier. If I had to do it with a couple guys and the right tools it wouldn't be that hard. It was rebedded with poly sulfide. Time will tell really whether or not this will do.

Shop charged $700 to install the glass. Remember that's also with a 1-hour driving time each way to come out here. My installer said the glass probably was about $1,200 and that included 2 tubes of poly sulfite bedding material. I'm not sure how much it would have cost to ship it. Let's say $350. So for a total of about $2,250. I'm not sure what my zero deductible glass is costing me right now, but I bet it's about half of what I paid per year. Next time I might just consider doing it myself but only if my insurance wasn't going to cover it. Progressive says they'll cover two glass replacements in a year. I believe is what my policy says. Of course, a new gasket would be a lot more expensive and I don't think you get the old glass out without breaking it. I had a fairly large crack in the glass at start but it was completely spidered when we were done. The polysulfide adhesive really holds on to that windshield Pretty good.
