You should see no light when the bladder is fully inflated. Knowing the aux compressor is not coming on for some reason, there will be nothing to maintain the bladder when you are camped/parked. That needs to be addressed.
That said, the engine compressor is more than enough to inflate the bladder initially. It's possible the bladder has a leak.
If the bladder was leaking, that could have caused the aux compressor to fail if the compressor ran unattended for days.
There is not normally a gauge on the slide bladder manifold/system. Some owners have added it.
If the slide bladder needs to be replaced, you'd also be looking at replacing the slide manifold. Probably $4K per slide bladder (do both at the same time even if the other doesn't need it unless there's a record of it being replaced), plus extra for the new manifolds. Plus about $1500-$2000 if the aux compressor has failed.
Glad to hear this isn't a coach you own yet. Sounds like it wasn't well-maintained (noting the rear axle noise on top of this, plus the issue with the Javalina/rear camera display head).
