Dometic 321 Toilet help

So I would like to ask if anyone has anything good or bad to say about the dometic 321 low toilet. My coach doesn't accept many replacement toilets do to the minimal offset but I believe i can build a aluminum base to raise it up to allow offsetting the drop above the floor inside the riser and still keep it low enough for my DW to find it acceptable. Any and all insight is appreciated.

I put a 320 standard height in mine and haven't had any trouble with it. There has been several others that have used the 320 also and i haven't heard of any complaints. Be sure that you have the distance from the wall to the bolts to hold it down. I think it is 12 inches not sure I remember correctly. Some other brands have different measurements.
Just my two cents

We replaced the Traveler with the Dometic 320 and am very happy with it.  The nice thing about it is replacing seals and/or valve assembly doesn't require removing the entire toiler and taking it apart.  Very easy maintenance.

Scott, Our Sealand Traveler 511 short base toilet is 10" to 10.5" tall from floor to top of porcelain with the front bit lower than rear. Our toilet is mounted on a box to accommodate the ABS pipe slope, as toilet is not mounted directly over black tank.

That is the reason for the box for the offset. Just don't want to order a problematic model. Still need to see if I can order separate parts. Valve and external handle

Scott, I also put in the Dometic 320 ADA Elongated commode.  Very happy with results!  I can accommodate this for you when I get down to Boulder City!  Just an idea!  Thinking on adding a bidet to mine as well!

My 36 walk threw bath is not accommodating to the tall one. Not enough room. With the short one and a platform I should be able to offset the drop enough to accommodate the short toilet. I'm make sure to build plans and templates to duplicate. Will make out of aluminum and cover with matching flooring for our coach. Barry did his with good results and I do want the elongated seat if possible. Wish I could trust what I have, it works great, but I don't. 20 year old plastics and electronics. Bad! Pure mechanical and new plastics GOOD!
 I hope.

BTW, On a serious note, I learned that some toilets have deeper bowls, that dangles may appreciate. Does not seem to be a standard depth for RV toilets.
