slide out awning

I am looking on line at U320 with one slide. It has Zip Dee awnings. The awning that goes over the slide is also the window awning. The picture is not very good. Does the awning fabric just rest on the outer lip of the slide?? Weird set up?? Thanks

Yes. It comes down to the top edge of the slide, rests on that corner, and then shoots down to provide shade to the windows. Red line in attached image depicts how it rests. Kind of goofy but functional.

If your slide is out it is best to pull the awning down so the awning sheds water.  We have a short rope loop at the end of the awning pull so that we don't have to have it all the way down.

When not deployed over the window (only over the slideout), it looks like Elliot's photo above.  The sewn threads mostly  gave way last year, and are glued for now.

New fabric on all awnings in Nacogdoches this November scheduled.
