Front wheel bearing

Was checking slide pins on front wheels today and noticed right wheel had a small amount of oil under ball joint.  I pulled the wheel and hub cleaned everything then pulled the seal flange off spindle.  Hopefully Truck pro will have parts
Flange is a Stem co 1702
Seal is a Stemco  308-0836

Wow Chris! You're a man's man! I don't think I could lift the wheel or hub! That saves you at least $500.00. Ask me how I know....

You may get look into a unitized seal that replaces one the uses a sleeve. The new style seal turns inside its self. You install it in the hub then pull the seal on with the bearing and nut. The parts guy should be able to cross the numbers over.

Don't have too be strong enough to lift just smart enough to move without lifting. Chris ain't no weightlifter or dummy. Hopefully parts are not stuck in some container floating around waiting to get unloaded. Good job!

Got new seal put on and everything went together just fine
Walt I use a lift cart from HF, lined everything up and slid it right on
The seal is like Bruce was talking about
The one I got is a R1-S01 and it had several numbers on the flap that are cross for other brands of seal
They have a pretty good website and according to the website if you watch the video and take the test and make 85 on test they will warranty not only the seal but will replace the brakes
Also, If seal leaks!

One more pic
The original seal was the 2 piece Stemco 308-0836 as seen on box flap
I got this seal from Truck Pro but I think the website will tell you where the dealers are
