Stud kit for lift pump

I think I read somewhere this week that when installing a lift pump on a mechanical 8.3 Cummins that a "stud kit" made it easier. Does anyone know this to be true or not?

I am not sure about easier but definitely save the threads where it mounts, straight pull when installing all the friction on the stud and nut.
