One of the "twins"?

Last summer MOT had a pair of U320's, a 1999 and a 2000. Both had single slides and walk-thru baths. Both were priced originally at $69,500, but one was later reduced to $67,500. Both eventually disappeared. Now this one shows up. 2000 Foretravel U320 4010 WTFE | Motorhomes of Texas and it looks just like the twins. The big difference, though, is the floorplan. If you look at the floorplan shown here and then look at the pictures you can see that this one has been changed from the factory plan - maybe.

Questions: I'm assuming that slides were rare in those days, which is why none is shown. Correct?
Since this floorplan doesn't match any of those shown, might it be a custom?
A motorcade number is visible here. Unfortunately, I don't remember what number was on the 2000 we saw in July. Anyone happen to know either that coach or this one?

I would think that reworking pretty much the entire interior would cost a small fortune, and if one was going to spend that kind of money I would think that the navigator's seat would have been reupholstered. Somehow I can't see that this is actually the same coach we saw in July, but I guess anything is possible.

When I saw it on MOT's site I told Jo Ann that one of the twins was back. It probably isn't, but it sure looks like the ones we saw in July, at least on the outside.

The 2001 GV320 floorplan is similar except for the desk and love seat instead of the door and chair.

I think 6 coaches were built with slides in 1999 - there were U-320 special editions
in 2000 most of the coaches got a single slide - but they were optional rot dozer with our without
that 4010 is a common floorpan except the desk

See 2000 U320 Floorplans attached.

Looks like a custom floor plan, the big difference is a short drawer set in the kitchen and a desk and short couch on the passenger side.  Reupholstery is not always cheap but quite doable.  Changing the kitchen cabinet is also doable.  Major rearranging of components is difficult.

Buy a floor plan that is as close as you can find to what works for you.

We really like the walk-thru bath plan. When I saw that one that's the plan that is in the pictures. The coach, though, doesn't match the plan shown, which is why a wondered.

Yes, that 1999 U320 was an SE, so it was one of the six. Probably should have gone for it. Hindsight is always 20/20.

If this one interests you, maybe the wall could be removed to open up the bathroom???  A pocket door could also be added at the front if not already there.  Just a thought.

We're almost resigned to the next coach having a slide, but we're really prefer one without. If Mr. Fiedler is correct, it sounds like most 1999 Foretravels don't have slides, while most 2000 Foretravels do. Is that a fair read?

David, we have the WTFE floorplan on our coach and like it over the private bath.  More room and can slide both pocket doors closed for privacy if wanted.  Having had both floorplans, the best is the open one.  Especially if you are claustrophobic, which I am not.
