Pre Owned Coach Inspection

I sympathize with the folks wanting a coach inspection.  Years ago it was less of a problem when Foretravel had dealerships around the country.  I dug back through my paperwork and found my Pre-Delivery Inspection Report.  Most buyers of Foretravels are experienced or have experienced friends that will assist.  This template may be helpful in systematizing your inspection.  I was with the inspector at the time and he simply keyed in on every item and then made notes as he went along until the last page was created.  He used every switch, lever, knob and button to be sure they worked.  There really isn't any magic to it.  Finally, I took the coach to a Cummins Service center and had them inspect the engine and transmission.  All done in 2 days at a reasonable cost.  There were no surprises.  I hope this helps.  I certainly don't mean to minimize the value of a knowledgeable inspector.  If available I'd employ one as I did, but after years of owning a Class A motorhome armed with this template one would think you'd avoid any big mistakes.  All that said I fully recognizing the value of a knowledgeable and objective second pair of eyes.  I'm just trying to provide an alternative when that is not possible.
