Haldex Pure Air Plus part number

I'm going to replace my Pure Air Plus dryer with a factory reman. I'd like to have the new one before removing the old but can't find the part #. Where's the "plate" with model info supposed to be?

On a similar note, if anyone can just confirm that DA33100X is the correct part number for all Pure Air Plus dryers on an M11 I'll just go ahead and order one. Thanks in advance

2. all Pure Air Plus dryers on an M11

1. Your coach Yes. It came with a DA33100 12VDC though the DA33100X is the factory re-man #
2. Not all M11 have the Pure Air Plus
3. Check your compressor to see if your system needs the Isolation valve. Yours may or may not have been removed. Depending on the compressor your system may not require one.

Thanks Mike, can you explain #3 in five-year old terms for me please?

Elliott,

Well I missed this question.
I can't remember without going up to the shop and looking at a new one. With my broke foot you are out of luck on that happening as my leash ain't that long.

If your engine driven compressor is a Holset SS296E (which is most likely what you have) you need the Isolation valve. Some owners removed there dryer for exchange and didn't realize that they needed the isolation valve. This valve is needed to keep the compressor from pumping oil.  There is a couple of videos here on the Forum that explains the difference in the compressors and the use of isolation valves.  I will see if I can get the IT department head here to see if she can find them and post a link for you. These are a great learning tool.

Since the dryer filter is replaceable, and in some models the filter includes the whole upper section of the dryer, the ID plate is generally located on the bottom of the dryer.  This is true for my AD-9.  Don't know if true in all cases.

See photos in post linked below.  Shows ID plate on bottom of AD-9 dryer.  Also show the "isolation valve" mentioned by Mike.

I just finished rebuilding mine and mine was a Midland N4250. The tag with the part
number was bolted to the purge valve. I was told by by a tech and Holdex that
the replacement for mine was a DA33200X. The phone # for Holdex is 1 866 769 3747
and ask for Ryan he knows his stuff. I would have gotten the upgrade but I was in a
hurry.
