Adjusting Isuzu valves

While I'm changing the glow plugs is a good time to adjust the valves. What is the
valve clearance. It's a mixed bag as to the clearances on google.

I would only go by the manual for yours OR contact manufacturer.

Said another way, I would not trust "if I read it on the internet it must be true" with my valve adjustment specs.

The only thing I could find in the manual is when to do valves clearance checks but no
valve clearances.

Look on the valve cover decal, if it's still there.

Nothing on the valve cover and I have found a manual online and they are 0.20 mm
or 0078 thousand. I put an 8 thousand feeler gage in the first cylinder and they are
quite loose. I will adjust them tomorrow.

Peter, valves usually tighten up with age as the valves sink into the seats. Make sure the manual is for your engine.

I made a mistake it's a Isuzu engine not a Kubota and is there away to change the
heading.

I tried to post the manual but I don't know how. The manual has the right model
number.

Thanks Brett. The valves are adjusted and having the glow plugs out makes it a lot
easier to turn the engine over.

Yup, no compression makes it a LOT easier to turn over.
