removal of sharp microwave

I'm at a standstill.  As shown on the picture I removed 3 screws on top and I loosened the two long screws on each side.  The bottom panel came off as I loosened some more screws.  But it is still solidly attached.  I haven't loosened the carpeted panel in the compartment above the microwave.
Any ideas?

I know that the back of the oven has to be lifted up off of a long catch? hard to explain but it has a track that it hangs on and has to be lifted up and off about an inch or less....

Rick, when I did mine, I found several wood screws along the top edge going into the cabinet above.  If you look closely, you should see them along the edge of the metal.

Yup, same here. Hard to see and hard to get at without a really long bit.

There was one more screw to the left, the same position as the other 3 screws.  Once I loosened that one it came down.
I'm waiting for my wife to help get it off of the bracket in the back.

     The new Sharp microwave/convection oven came in.  I tried to put it in.  It is very heavy even with two people.  We got it on the back slot and pushed it up, but the two long screws would not align with the hole in the back brace it's supposed to screw into.  The back brace is exactly the same dimensions as the new one, so I am using the old one that's already mounted.
I think I'm going to have someone with some muscle and experience install it for me.

I do have a motorcycle jack with a huge base.  It's really heavy so I can put some long 2 x 4's down first and lay the jack on top so I don't damage the counter and put some 4 x 4's on top of the jack for the extra height that I will need.  That's probably about 150 pounds on my counter but if I evenly distribute the weight, I think I should be ok.

First I would install the bracket that came with the New Micro Wave oven... The same dimensions does not mean that new micro wave oven will attach to that old bracket properly. If I remember correctly I built up a base on top of my stove cover that sits directly under the microwave oven that allowed me to support the oven within an inch or so of the bottom of the rear hanging bracket. then I lifted the rear of the oven on to that bracket which then allowed me to lift and shim the front of the oven into place. There should be no resistance when shimming up the front of the oven, of there is look for something that could be restricting its movement...

18360, I recently installed a new Sharp.  The two long screws were a real bear to get aligned and secured.  But persistence prevailed and they finally aligned.  Be patient.  I also used the previous mounting panel as it was mounted very secure.  Good Luck!

Every microwave comes with a bolt pattern paper to lay inside the upper cabinet.  Make sure that it lines up with the top screw holes in the microwave.  The bracket on the wall will work, that is not the issue here.  I have installed well over 100 OTR microwaves and like others have mentioned, it takes a little patience to line up.  Don't force, take your time and the screws will just start by hand if they are aligned.  Place a wooden block under the MW to hold it up with maybe a small cushion or rag to keep from scratching anything.  I have found that this is normally a one person job, as two will be fighting each other.  Once it is leveled, the screws should go in with no trouble as long as the holes in the top cabinet are correctly aligned.  Hope this helps!
I never understood why FOT used those long wood screws.  I only takes those two bolts going through the top cabinet into the microwave with the bracket holding the back side to allow the unit to be installed properly!

     I did use the motorcycle jack.  It was hard putting the wood in the right place so it wouldn't damage anything (especially the door).
But after that we just jacked it up, let the front down so the back went up and then we just pushed it back over the brace in the back.  Like mentioned above the two screws that mainly hold it in place were difficult to line up.  But we did get it to go through.
    I did use the old bracket.

Don't know about your oem sharp mounting, but the bracket for Sharp's from a few years earlier were one piece with spring loaded latches along back wall under microwave. Later mounts were two piece with long angled bolts accessed from under air filters. These two types of mounts are not interchangeable.
