Passenger reading light replacement

I am replacing the passenger reading light after I broke the inners while looking to replace the bulb. I have purchased a very similar one but would like to know if there is a trick to removing the original one off the wood passenger assistance rail. I don't want to damage the wood if I can help it!

Pry off the plastic cover and you will find the screws.
