Generator Insulation Mounts and Hoses Video

Hello all,
My last video on the Foretravel for now as I move back into racing (and building a workbench with a laminate 2x4 top).  This is the process of replacing the insulation in the generator box, cooling hoses, painting the fan and fan bay, oil pressure switch and rear engine mounts.

I would say slightly louder actually...  The stuff foretravel used was very good... and expensive.  It's not louder enough to deal with the expensive materials in my opinion.  It may just be that I feel more vibration through the new engine mounts.  They are usually a little stiff when they are new and soften up a bit.

Are there better options for the generator motor mounts?

So several questions. Were the replacement mounts similar to original? LORD brand? Did they have the silicone mounts available? They genuinely are worth the extra money on other projects I have done chasing being vibration isolated.
I have the generator quiet box on our coach and one of the very first things I did literally was pull all the failing material out. Will address next winter maybe?

The mounts powertech gave me looked identical to the original.  I don't think powertech had any different mounts available.  If you wanted to do something clever you'd likely have to figure out what part they actually are and look into the aftermarket for that.. Or just custom engineer something.

It's really not so bad though.  The only thing that offends me is the exhaust noise.  I am offended for my own neighbors ;)
