Water pump pex pipes

I want to take off the right angle connection to the water pump to make it a straight through from the tee. When I unscrew the cap the pex will not come apart. Is there a secret to this?

They can be tight. Pull and twist.

Warm it up with a heat gun it will come right off, same going back on.
