Dipstick?

Another silly question. Checking fluids and all are good and clean. Now, any tricks to getting this 4 ft. Long dipstick back into the transmission? Cummins and 3000 tranny. I have tried every twist and turn and in and out and forcing that I can think of... wife even had to try. Even though I would have been humiliated, I would be ecstatic if she would have been successful. Goes all the way in easy until about the last foot... WTH...

If you have electronic tranny fluid level display, no need to pull tranny dipstick anymore...

Now that you did that, keep an eye on your transmission oil. Make sure there is no oil under the transmission and no oil around the dipstick tube. There is a slight posiblity to disturb the dipstick tube gasket. It happen to mine and I hope not yours.
