Bedroom motorized TV lifting itself

Two nights ago I awoke to a strange noise.  Figured out it was the TV raising out of the counter by itself.  I got up, hit he button to put it back down and that was that.  Last night, it did it twice.  Any ideas as to what may cause this?  Seems odd that it only does it at night as well.

I would look for an intermittent problem with the switch or control circuit.

Keith, I had the same problem at two different state park campgrounds a few years ago, and only at night.  Problem in both cases was a bad neutral connection in the pedestal box.  Once I got to a good connection, no problem.  And this happened while using a Progressive Industries EMS-PT50, which did indicate an error.  If your problem is the same, it could be at the pedestal or the coach.  I understand it is a bit unnerving to hear that in the middle of the night!  Almost had a bullet hole in the TV!  :D  Good Luck!

I also would check the pedestal first.
Loose connections and such are quite common.

Thanks guys...I'm guessing that was it as we left that park the next day and have not had an issue since.  Good to know what the potential issue was.  My Hughes Autoformer did not indicate a neutral issue, but I wasn't looking at it at night.
