It just hurts all the more when it isn't your fault.
I imagine that by the time all is said and done, THEIR insurance company is going to teach the errant driver a life lesson.

Let me guess: They didn't see you?

The way people zip around in traffic I'm amazed there isn't more of this stuff..    passing on the right just pisses me off.  And its now acceptable to shoot threw the red light if it was yellow. Maybe even two cars.

      Had to rant, sorry.

I will disagree.  I think it really hurts more when you back into a tree while you have spotters watching you as you back.  Or having a wife run into a fence on the drivers side while you are making sure she does not hit a house on the passenger side.

I would be amazed if they have insurance. That blows and seems to always happen to the nicer coaches like yours.

Well actually your not ranting , your just observing the obvious. Driving skills have changed. I feel for the professional drivers dealing with these chicklet brain people daily. I've tried to just say if they haven't traded paint, its not worth worrying about, but nevertheless every time I get behind the wheel of the coach I get flashbacks of our Reno  incident for a solid 20 minutes. There is more idiots driving daily and they reproduce. Thankfully it appears no one was hurt and paint can be repaired. Glad your safe.

I'm sensitive to non insured motorists. Seems to be an epidemic in my state and yet insurance is my households biggest expense. Good your not faced with that.

Some states come out and take the plates off the vehicle if insurance lapses. When my daughter registers her truck in Australia, liability insurance is included.

Insurance is costing a larger and larger part of many people's income now. When you are on a fixed income, doubling the homeowner's insurance, medical secondary, vehicle insurance means less for everything else. Now, on top of everything else, PG&E's electric rates are going up.

Definitely time to hire your own representation, although its been my personal experience that every claim is time to hire a rep.  The only person the insurer is looking out for is himself.

I know about uninsured policy. I had a quarter of a million dollar loss when one of my rigs was hit head on with me driving.  A $500.00 pickup driven by a man that had never had a job or an insurance policy. It's good that Jeff will likely be made whole again. As for me I've NEVER been made whole. I just pay my bills and a good portion of others bills.Without my buying insurance for those that won't and have nothing to loose I would have been in a pickle more than once.
