HELP! DEF Level Indicator shows wrong level

HELP! On my 2020 FT IH 45 the DEF level indicator jumps out of a sudden from full, down to 1/3. I stopped on the next TA to see what's happened. Filled DEF tank up to full again. Level indicator still shows 1/3. If it shows empty, I do not drive a inch anymore. Any suggestions?

Stuck sender float? Percussion persuasion indicated?

I read the rvtravel article that Scott posted and for under 100 you can build a work around for the DEF problems
No--I don't have DEF and I am thankful but If I did have DEF I would have already ordered the parts necessary to build the workaround.

Give Spartan a call.  My guess is your def head it headed out and is going to need to be replaced.  The good news is I do not think they have any more shortages.  Last summer people were waiting 3 months to be able to get a replacement. As stated above get the by bypass so you can keep on going when the def head fails and stops the coach in it's tracks.
