Fridge on the fritz

Just about ready for our fall trip, plugged the fridge into the mains via an extension cord to get it cold.
Went back in the coach a few hours later and the control panel is flashing and a beeping sound.
Switch off and try to restart and nothing, no lights.
So I've unplugged it and we'll see what happens before bedtime.

If you can't get it to run on electric you may try it on gas to get thru your trip.

Sure sounds like low voltage coming through the extension cord.....

Good voltage on the cord but no display lights, I'll see what dc will do in the morning but I've had enough for tonight.
Thanks for every response
Maybe it's time for a new one ?

Sounds like low DC voltage.  What is voltage to the DC terminals at the back/outside of the refrigerator?

If you haven't had coach plugged in, your batteries are dead

Plugged back in this morning and we're good to go !
Maybe trying to overcome the ambient temperature of 98 was a bit too much for the old thing, but we're rested and recovered today.

The circuit board on almost all RV fridges needs 12V or it won't work on propane or 110V. If it does not come on, check voltage on house batteries.
