Installing new batteries.

I installed new Silicon batteries yesterday and they would hardly turn the engine over and then
the starter quit. So my problem was the starter but the engine turned over fine on boost so I thought
the batteries were shot. At first I thought maybe my new batteries would work as start batteries but was
told they would work, he was right the work fine. I made a new battery box as it was easier then modifying
the old one.

Funny, you and I are doing the similar things in parallel. Battery. Starter.

Very nice. Are those 31s?  I want to do this soon as well and is on my todo list. I think I am going to do what @Pierce & Gaylie Stewart  did though and modify the bracket How to install group 31 batteries in your coach

No they are not 31s. I went though their web site and found batteries that I new I could fit
in the space and ordered them. I wanted the same type of battery that I had for house batteries.
I actually got another 600 amp hours of house batteries that I am installing. The battery box that
Pierce did looks like he made a new one too. I was going to modify mine but it was a lot quicker to
make a new one and I already had the steel so I made a new one.
