Air condition breakers

Today I have had time to look at why I have 2 breakers hooked up in series.  I have noticed this
a long time ago but never took the time to sort it out. It took a bit of time looking at the wiring
diagram and then I saw it they are not suppose to wired in series, they are wired wrong they are
hooked together but the power is suppose to come in between them not on the left. Someone
made a mistake and only one circuit is protected and the other is protected by two breakers. I
will fix it as soon as I buy two 15 amp breakers as I don't think they will come apart without
destroying them.

Sorry I sent the wrong picture. This one is not that good either.

Looks like all you need to do is move the wire from the left terminal to the right terminal of that circuit breaker and then it will share power with both circuit breakers.  There is a metal strap between the two in the middle.

That's the plan. I will pick up new breakers tomorrow.

The pictures appear to be cube relays, not circuit breakers.  Am I seeing this correctly?

On a 1999 U320, Cube relays on your A/Cs are used to turn a 12 vdc signal calling for heat from the Aqua Hot into the ground signal that the Aqua Hot reacts to.

Rudy the breakers are below the cube relays and the power is supposed to go from the
breakers to the relay. It's a bad picture and I  will post a picture when it's done right.

Now it's wired correctly. The sense wire to the alternator is hooked through one of the breakers.
I guess Foretravel wanted that wire protected too, not a bad idea.

Peter,

Several of us have relocated that sense wire to a better location. Some have went to the battery post and others have moved that wire to the isolator. If you do this the wire will need its own breaker. The reason is some have had a problem when the compressor kicked in it would drop the system voltage. When this would happen the alternator would go nuts.

Thanks Mike I was thinking about that but I will wait until the Balmar Regulator gets here as
a lot will get rewired.

Just a thought, but if you have wiring diagrams onboard it might be a good idea to make to make penciled-in changes to those diagrams to reflect your changes.  This might help some future owner troubleshoot problems in the future.

Peter in that first photo some one added a pair of heavy diodes probably to charge starting batteries without them back charging house batteries. Interesting
