Note per his profile, this is a 2003 U320.
Craig - you may want to create a signature so your coach information appears at the bottom of each of your posts.
When you turn the key, first the amber light should start blinking. You should hear the aux compressor run as it's pulling vacuum on the slide bladders. Once it achieves vacuum (since this is a 2003), the light should go solid.
Do you have this behavior?
Are you level (per the HWH control pad display)? No "excess slope" light, correct? You can't move the slides in an "excess slope" situation.
Transmission in N and parking brake set? You can't move the slides without the parking brake set.
