Heat exchanger locations
Since inquiring on the forum recently I discovered two basement heat exchangers, one by the water pump and another in the sewage bay by the pipes exiting the black and grey tanks. I have been wondering how these TWO heat exchangers could possibly heat the entire basement areas even with the multiple vents throughout. Is there a third exchanger that I have not discovered that is in the basement??
On another note, the thermostat sensor for the basement heat is located behind one of the carpeted panels in the water pump bay BUT very close to the heat exchanger. Just guessing, but would not that mean the heat would shut off prior to the rest of the bays and areas reaching proper temperature?? Seems to me the temp sensor should be farther away from the actual exchanger and fan
