Living Room Slide Front Bias

I had to replace a hydraulic hose in my LR slide recently.  I removed the slide pins from the walls per the HWH tech.  Spent 30 minutes running the pump with arms free.  Reattached the arms in the same location (marked them before I started) and ran it in and out 15 or so times.  Note: the rear of the slide hits the stop 1/2 second before the Front

When I got it all back together I put the slide back out I inspected the spacing on the slide from the outside.  Here is what I see from the outside:

Slide fully extended top and  bottom on both Left and Right sides are within 1/8 of an inch when measuring from the coach to the edge of the slide

Slide fully extended when the coach is level the gap between the walls of the slide - 3/8" on the front and 5/8" on the rear

Slide fully retracted the L & R top are flush with the coach, Left bottom is sticking out by 1/8" inch and the right bottom is out by 1/4"

This is causing the bladder on the rear to fail the credit card test.  I could see light from inside and outside in the area of the window

Bumped up the bladder pressure to 16psi and the light disappears but the credit card test still fails

Brough the slide in and dropped the rear of the coach a couple of inches and extended the slide and that gap had closed and passed the credit card test

Leveled the coach out ran it in and out and the gap returns.

I was told there is no adjustment north and south on that slide.  What is pulling it to the rear ?

Am I in time out for asking too many questions or am I the only one that has this particular problem ?  :D

Any and all suggestions are truly appreciated.

I would suggest that you remove the facia on the inside of the room so that you can see how the room is attached to the arms that move it in and out. Then watch them in action while moving the room. There may be something that is broken or maybe just loose. I really don't like trying to adjust slide rooms, really not my thing. I think that it takes a certain type of person to understand them and how to make them do what they are supposed to do.

So nearly every year is different. 2001 I can help, 2002 I'm guessing. I can say the new improved bladder seals much better than the old.

On a 2003, I'm vaguely recalling there's a synchronizing cylinder that helps both ends come in together, but I don't know the process for "setting" it or "re-setting" it.

Could be that cylinder is bad.

It's been a few years since we had my slide disconnected, but I seem to remember that the top has stop plates where the room meets the inner frame.  If the top is flush front and back, then it sounds like these are set correctly.  If the bottom is still sticking out, that would mean you need to adjust the position of the arms where they bolt to the slide, so it pulls the slide in a little further.  Since it won't be able to pull it in at the top, it will rock a little and pull the bottom in.  I believe these are slotted and have a bit of adjustment.

Thanks everyone!!

I will get some help and watch the arms in motion.  It's possible that the rear end of the slide not coming all the way in at the bottom is the cause of the gap on the side. Cockeyed a bit possibly.

When I get back to that little project I will provide an update.

There are stops on the top and bottom of the room cylinders that I can adjust. The major challenge is space between my dinette and fridge and getting enough space to move a wrench.  I'll make a tool or grind one down.

2002 is the year by itself on the slide design and they had a sync cylinder for sure.
