Cat 3208 Serial Numbers

I have been struggling to find a paper service manual for my cat 3208. The prefix for my engine s/n is 02Z. I see all sorts of manuals on ebay for engine serial numbers "32Y1 and up" or "2Z1 and up" but I NEVER see one for "02Z and up".  I can't find a chronological list of the serial number prefixes to know if my engine would be covered by one of these other manuals. Can anyone help me with a bit of history on these engine serial numbers so I can find the right service manual?

What is the whole serial number,and do you have an arrangement number on the metal tag,that would help.

I have most of  the service manual.  Feel free to call anytime .    87 and later should have roller lifters. I think , and the only real service is making sure that the valves dont get tight. .

Yup, if no record of recent valve adjustment, good Preventive Maintenance to do it on the Cat 3208.

Our 97 3126 cat had solid lifters, not roller....Just sayin'
