Galvanic corrosion protection

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased Centramatics for the coach front and rear.
I noticed the piece of plastic that is used in between the Alcoa and steel wheels in the rear.
Do I need that for the front rim to protect it from the Centramatics?

Thanks

I would say it can't hurt.  I think they are mainly for cosmetic protection of the aluminum wheels.  Mine are Accuride wheel guards and they are about $5 each at Find it Parts.

I believe the Centramatics are aluminum so no issue with outer wheel if you use it put it between the Centramatic and the steel wheel.
