Step cover slide operation valve

New valve is different from factory.  2000 U320.  Can anyone tell me which post is positive and which is negative for the new valve on the right?

Your digital voltmeter will tell you in 2 seconds. Red lead of voltmeter to suspected positive, Black lead  to suspected ground. Set the instrument to volts DC.

If the voltage reading is positive (+12.7 VDC for example), you have identified polarity (red lead is on the positive, black on ground). 

If reading is negative (-12.7 VDC for example), the red lead is on the ground/black on positive.

Nice!!  Thanks Brett.  I have the meter just not handy with it.  The instructions are much appreciated!
