Best Location For Tire Minder Booster

Where is the best location to install the booster, 36 foot with a Toad. I have read the instructions then thought someone here may have found places where it does not communicate properly.
Any location that everyone uses?
Thanks for your help

Glad you asked because I stand corrected, I connected it to the isolator. You can see the black wire coming off the right terminal in the attached picture. The antenna was just screwed into the same wall Above the engine a little further to the right. Sorry I dont have better pictures.

Elliott,

Put an in-line fuse on that lug of the battery isolator going to the repeater.  If that wire ever abraded through or came in contact with any metal, very high amp overheat/fire.

That was on the old coach but will do it in the GV too. Good call

Yup, ignition-hot circuit is best if you only want to use power/monitor tire pressure with the ignition on.

Thank you, it works super well on the bulkhead wall in the engine area!
The instructions suggest a permanent power supply of which there was a good choice, now I have a nice blue light for the battery minder and a green for the tire minder! All I need now is a disco ball!

Repeater doesnt draw much power so on a previous coach, I tapped into the license plate light wires--I like to drive with "parking" lights on, so repeater is only on while I am driving.

Rear cabinet above the bed, powers up from the monitor switch on the dash.
Monitor switch on, camera & TPMS on.

Mine is under the bed as well. Ran a new power wire from one of the spare fuse locations on the 12V fuse panel there.
