Electric power problem

I am on land power and the display shows 12o and 122 . Only a few of my outlets are "hot". Of course, I checked breaker box. None were tripped. I am not sure how to proceed to find the short. Thankfully, our refrigerator has power, and a few other outlets, but most are out. Any ideas?? thanks

Probably an OPEN rather than a SHORT.  You may have a GFI in the bath or Kitchen that has tripped Open.

As others stated sound like GFI breaker. Likely in bath next to sink, push the poped out breaker in the 110 volt outlet.

Duh....been here before, but it was too early in the day. Amy Googled it, and of course, it WAS the tripped GFI in the bathroom. One less thing on my " to do " list. Thanks for the response.

Glenn,

Don't kick yourself too much. Like you, I am a long time Foretravel owner and Foreforum participant and I went through your exact experience yesterday morning. Thankfully I woke up enough to figure it out before I got to the Forum.

Because it is near a water source by code it is GFI. It doesn't have to be. I threw mine away and installed a regular outlet. They also get weak and trip. You make the call.

I have had more problems with the salesman switch by the door. I have taken panel covers off and checked the GFCI's before I found it. I have looked for the gremlins that hide in my coach and turn it off.
Glad you found the problem.

Salesman switch problems are usually from accidently moving switch handle. Do like others, put a small metal bracket that has to moved out of the way to move handle.

Also, it is probably better to put a switch on house battery cable to cut off all battery drains.

Salesman switch leaves some loads connected, and switch can be bypassed by removing two big cables and putting a short heavy cable between breaker posts located on top of bay mounted 12v panel under white fiberglass cover.
