 No idea how rapid, but it did blown up.
People had asked for pics of the new unit installed to help them locate it.
 Since it's nice and shiny, it'll show up good in pics...

For those of you wondering where that sumobitch lives, and because we ALL love pictures......
 The shiny thing with blue wires is the solonoid you're looking for.
 Yes,  the assy to the right is the mounting bracket for the throttle and shift cable.

Click on more. 
Then look right side for add files. 
Then camera should come up.
After the pic loads. Click save
