No Heat

Must confess it seems I brought this on myself, but have no heat. Yesterday was trying to put switch in to control Aquahot to dash vent. No success thinking have bad relay switch, part on way. But now have no heat at all. Aquahot fires, have hot water but no heat to coach. Tried putting on heat pumps and even fans at thermostat but nothing there either. Leads me to believe that communication has been cut off to thermostat. No Furnace, fans, or ceiling heat. Thermostat display lights up but no response. Where do I start? Pretend you are guiding an idiot because you are.

Have you checked the fuses located on the Aqua hot?  I would start there.

With AH heat turned on at thermostat and setting calling for heat pull one of the covers over a AH register and see if the hoses are hot.

If so, then the AH pumps and AH thermostat is working, and a 12 volt fuse or resettable breaker for the fans popped.

That will narrow it down for you until Rudy checks in with you.

If the hoses are hot, then you can check for a blower fan problem.
On the drivers side in one of the basement bays there is a fabric covered cover over the resettable breakers.  Remove that cover and see if there is a breaker labeled for the fans. If there is, on the side (possibly hidden under a copper bar) push the reset button.

If no luck with resettable breakers under the fiber board cover, this will show you where the 12 volt fuses on the AH itself are located.  Might want to turn off the 120 volt electric element switch inside before removing any covers on the AH unit itself.

Thx for help all. Found it. 15A automotive fuse on AH unit in basement blown. New fuse, VOILA! Then there was heat. Wife is happier and no longer threatening to sue for divorce, at least for the moment. Will see what the day brings

Well.... 2 weeks later. 15a fuse keeps blowing, worked fine until yesterday. I'm back home wife is in coach in Hilton Head. No blowers for heat. Walked her through 15a fuse location and replacement. She has replaced 3x it is blowing instantly. Worked fine for 2 weeks now problems. I replaced relay switch for dash fans 2 weeks ago. Still no dash fans. Could I have reattached wiring in improper sequence? If so why no problems for 2 weeks. Pretty sure must be something else. This gonna be tough I'm not there.
