End cap warranty

I see a lot of info on the forum about this issue of end cap cracking when searched but with incomplete sentences I can't understand it.  I cannot open any of it up either.  Could someone tell me if FOT covered this or will they?  Was there a class action suit?  Thx in advance.  Bruce
Sorry if this is redundant to other posts.
Could be anywhere in the world!

The original Foretravel company covered it, but that was back in 2003-2004 (it affected the 2002 and 2003 coaches).  There was no class action lawsuit; repairs were done as part of the then-3 year/36,000 mile warranty plus a few stragglers.  The original issue came to light fairly quickly.  The warranty costs for these repairs are one of the reasons Foretravel nearly went bankrupt and was eventually sold in 2005.

It's extremely unlikely that the owners of Foretravel or FOT now, 20+ years later, would cover it.  They would have no reason to.

ETA - that said, any coach that had cracking due to the endcap issue (incompatible materials used during build) would have been repaired by now.  To suddenly see cracking this late in the game implies a different issue.

Boeingdrivr,

I looked at your prior posts, and it looks like you own a 2006 Phenix.  The end cap issue does not apply to that coach.
