Fantastic Fan vent covers

I've got the variable/automatic speed Fantastic Fans in my U320 that do not have covers.  If it starts to rain, they close automatically, which is great unless I want the vent flowing.  I want to put covers on them and picked up the Camco 14"x14" cover.  The issue is that these covers are less than 10" deep, and my vent opens to 12" above the roof.  These vents open automatically and stop at their full open height, so I need a cover that allows for 12" total height or so. 

Looking up Fantastic Fan online looks like it's a brand now owned by Dometic, and there are no covers shown on the page.  Anyone else put a cover on their Fantastic Fan and if so, which one did you buy?

I bought one and it is in my shop. I will measure it and get a picture if it will clear 12" I have the same fan as you with the remote. The cover only allows for 10" however if you turn on the vent and use the manual handle to stop it you will find that it doesn't continue after releasing the handle. That means if it hits the cover it will stop and not try to force it further.
