azbullhunter - I split your post into this new topic since it did not appear to be related to mkc1962's inverter/charger issue.

Are you asking about a Progressive EMS?  Are all readout positions "8" and flashing or are you getting a E-8 error?

You might take a look at it, I've repaired mine twice.  Both time failed solder joints, last time was on capacitors.  So if you're not under warranty might check it out.
