Installling Up and Down Blinds 2007 Nimbus

Hi there,
We really like our Up and Down shades and are ready to begin replacing our first one. We cannot find anything on this topic - just MCD. If you have any tutorials that you think would be helpful we sure would appreciate it.

If your blinds just need repair check out Fix My Blinds. I've restrung a couple of blinds and it is not difficult. There are videos on YouTube.

Much of the MCD process will apply, especially for the removal and reinstallation of the valances and verticals (our 2003 had 5 different trim configurations.)

I seem to recall (when we removed our OEM day/night fanfold shades) that each had a sticker on it with the size. You might start with an easy one (something with just a valance board, possibly the kitchen window) and see if yours have that sticker.

I recommend either doing one at a time or labeling the back of each trim piece as you remove it to help figure out what goes where when it's time to reinstall. There can be differences even in what appear to be identical pieces (such as the mounting holes.)

They might have been United Shade brand, but I'm not positive.
