Racor pre filter cleaning

I have never self serviced the racor plastic screened pre filter. I have Orings on hand. I also have a used spare if needed. 

Any tips on how to remove, clean, and re-install?

I do use bio-cide on a regular basis, and Howes fuel treatment most of the time

There is a thumb screw on top of the filter housing.  Unscrew it and work the top filter housing off.  Its a very simple system.
