changing fuel lines - hose fittings

Hey Foretravelers!

I'm getting ready to change my original Aeroquip fuel hoses to Trident 365 as many here on the forum recommend.

Now I have a question regarding the fuel hose fittings. It seems like Foretravel used #10 hoses with Aeroquip fittings for the feed line to the engine. So the feed line has four fittings:

tank
fuel filter housing in
fuel filter housing out
engine

I dont know what's on the tank, but it looks like the latter three are Aeroquip #10 90 Degree Socketless Black FCL1534 or Aeroquip #10 Straight Socketless Black FCL1514. They have 10AN threads to connect.

The return line seems to be connected without fitting.

Now my question to all of you who tackled this project already: Did you salvage your original fittings or did you get new ones? Will I be able to push the Trident hoses onto these fittings?
Any other recommendations of details to prepare before I start this?

I re-used all the fittings on my fuel line replacements. Used a heat gun to soften the hose a little bit.

Unless I mar the fitting removing it from the old hose they work just fine on the Trident hose.

I used the old fittings, and in most cases, did not loosen the old fitting.  I cut the old hose off, put something on the fitting to make it slicker (I don't remember, maybe diesel fuel, WD40, silicone...) and shoved the new line on.  Took some strong pushing, but no big problem.

Buy some work clothes from a thrift store, and throw them away at the end of each day.  The fuel line replacement prpbably tops the list of tasks when measured in greasy-stink-per-hour.

The hydraulic motor seal replacement trumps fuel line on greasy mess but not stink.

Reused my old fittings. Just be careful removing the old hose, don't scratch the old fittings.
