2012 Nimbus Starter?

Hi everyone hope you are well. I cannot get the coach started lights flash but will not turn over.  Local "help" including Foretravel themselves have been expensive and never totally fix anything.
I charged all the "house batteries".  Am I missing where the starter battery is?  It is not with house batteries?  And now the lights inside will not come on but refrigerator still running.  Please help! Gary

On my 07 Nimbus, the engine batteries are behind the driver side rear wheels.  Your house batteries will do nothing to help start the coach unless you use the boost.  Even then, if your engine batteries are really low, it might not be enough to get you going.

When my coach was completely dead, this is what I did to get it going:
* charge the house batteries enough that I could get the generator started.
* allow generator to charge my engine batteries
* start the coach

Lots of other things to consider (one of the most important being the age of your engine batteries), but this is a good formula for getting things up and going.

Thank you! I am now charging the first set of house batteries again as generator will not start.  The fridge is on and I got the hideouts, out but there are no lights inside.  When the local motor home company brought the rig back to me every single light was on in the coach now none will go on.  I have tried the battery disconnect button in front of coach.  I am going to try to jump start the engine battery apparently that is what they did to get the coach going.
Sorry for my ineptitude - how do I open the grate behind the rear wheels?

Is it imperative that you get it started right away?  I would charge both sets of batteries overnight and then see tomorrow if they are healthy enough to take a charge.  You say that you charged your house batteries first but how do you know they were charged?  If so I would think that charged house batteries with the boost switch on would have turned over the engine.  Do you know the age of the batteries?

Feel along the backside / bottom edge of the door, you will feel a paddle latch that you squeeze down to release the latches.  There may be two paddles, I can't remember.

I have an 08 Nimbus and I am quite knowledgeable of the battery systems.
If the chassis batteries are completely discharged the 3 210 AGMs will not get the ISM 500 started. Both the batteries and the wiring-boost do not have enough capacity. Work on getting the 3 chassis batteries charged first.
If using the on-board inverter/charger to get them going, confirm it is working and outputting power. Leave the boost switch on and allow the batteries to charge up. This will take many hours depending on charger capacity and total A/H capacity of the batteries. Mune was only 70 amps. That is almost 10 hours for the 600 A/H house battery bank and estimate another 6 for the ~125 A/H X 3 of the chassis batteries. It would be helpful to have volt and ammeters to confirm all this.
