Air Bags

While coach is in storage - can leveling system be maintained using the small compressor located in basement?

Owner manual is somewhat vague on this?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jim,

The answer to your question is a conditional "Yes".  The HWH leveling system has a "Automatic Leveling" function.  Using this function should keep your coach level, assuming the system (including the 12V aux compressor) is working correctly, and assuming that you keep the batteries charged. If your coach is plugged into 110V shore power the factory converter/charger should keep the coach batteries charged.  A trickle charger plugged into an outlet in the coach can keep the chassis batteries charged.  With a steady 12V power supply available, the HWH system should keep the coach level.  See the Auto Leveling section in the HWH 600 Series Service Manual:

For a more in-depth explanation of Automatic Leveling, see Pg. 17 in the HWH Air Leveling Systems Textbook:

Jim,

Why do you want to keep the system on while in storage?
