Screws blocking roof drain gutter??

My roof drains are not draining the condensation from the air conditioner. The water is rolling right over the top of the drains down the side of the RV. I climbed up on the roof to check it out.

Below are two pictures of my gutter/drain from my roof. The pictures are looking down toward the ground from the top of the RV. One picture is above the front of the awning, and the second one is the rear portion of the gutter near the back of the awning.  There is a screw in each of the picture that is circled. Are those  screws supposed to be there? I'm not sure if the screws are blocking the drains or not, but I didn't think it looked right. Before I remove the screws, I wanted to check with the group for feedback.

Now any ideas on why gutters are not working?  They are clean.

The screws keep the awning flex key in position.
