Aux Pump Leaking

I've been doing the bubble thing around the whole manifold after installing the service bulletin that added a check valve and changed the connections. The pump didn't want to get the pressure above 90 PSI and the pumptrol wasn't kicking out.
I finally started checking around the pump itself that wasn't touched by the SB and I have bubbles at the head gasket line!
I haven't tried tightening the allen screws yet. Anyone else have this issue?

I received my minor kit today from Granger. I was shocked to see the various prices on line with some over $300 while most in the $200 range. Steve used Granger so I checked with them and they have C85493-P for $115.28! That includes C85485-P Valve Service kit and the C87860-P Ring Service kit.
SO...  now to the process of installing!

So the good news is that it's all back together and it runs much quieter and cooler. Starting from zero pressure it comes up pretty quickly in the low range but boy howdie from 80 up is slow. My manifold connection aren't leaking but I do have to knock the pressure relief valve that shows a tiny leak to get it completely stop. Here in Alabama it is super humid right now so lots of condensation.
I Have leakage at the cylinder head of the compressor making bubbles despite a thorough cleaning of the old gasket material. I suspect that is making it difficult to achieve 100PSI. Steve mentioned in his repair writeup that some are fortunate enough to get a pump that used the rubber gasket but I'm not one of them so the two paper gaskets are all I have. There wasn't any mention of a gasket coating to help seal the head so I'm open to suggestions!

I use wheel bearing grease on my gaskets. Makes it easy for the gaskets stay in place, and easy to remove when taking back apart.  I have used the same gaskets on my sea water pumps for the last 5 years  when I change the impellers every year.

With paper gaskets (like ones made out of manila folder even) we always sprayed them on both sides with rattle can spray paint on both sides. Let them dry before using.
