Great scoop!

Likely a good move since Spartan is part of REV group and now partnered with Terex who only wants the ambulance/fire truck business.  And there are vastly more Freightliner service centers than Spartan ones.

ForeTruss?  :-X  Ummm....  does it go with a manssiere?

This was announced at the Grandvention in Oklahoma last October. They said that Spartan could not get right on the pricing. Which probably makes sense since FCCC buys way more engine, axles, transmissions, and front ends then Spartan does and bet they get better pricing.

Get Pictures.
Interested how they are going to be doing the frame compared to the way Spartan is doing it.

+1 - not just the pretty parts but the mechanicals.

Especially serviceability.  One area Spartan has done better than FCCC in the past (having looked at Newmar coaches) is the filter and air dryer accessibility.  Freightliner likes to tuck the air dryer way up under the rail, so you have to lie pretty much completely under the coach to service the air dryer.  Spartan locates it in a curbside "bay" near the rear of the coach ("Spartan Service Center").  Also see if they do an isolated ping tank for tow brakes (Spartan calls theirs "Safe Haul", IIRC).

Keeping in mind, of course, they are saying this is a prototype, but this kind of feedback would hopefully be useful if they're listening.

Visited the REV Factory a couple of years back.
It was interesting to see how they were using the Freightliner Chassis.
The chassis actually came in two pieces, coupled together for shipment to the factory.
The REV Center Section was installed and Huck Bolted in place.
